The topic refers to the "New Normal" of China's residential real estate market. This has been a hot issue on Chinese newspaper for long. Sluggish sales of residential real estate particularly in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in China worsen despite Chinese Government's endeavor to stimulate the market.
Low mortgage rate and reduced down payment requirements which were employed by Chinese Government appear to have had some impact on overall performance, however, the house price between mass and decent market segments remained persistently misaligned. China 's property investment continues to slow down until developers get rid of excess inventory. Recovery in the property sector still has a long way to go.
